Library Courtyard Progress Report (III)

July 3rd: Two fantastic pieces of news in the last 48 hours! Coley visited Kristian on Friday to say that he will begin his bricklaying work on Monday (5th) and there are over 300 bricks ready and waiting thanks to the generosity of Rita/Peter/Kate Jackson. (we still need more!) Then yesterday I heard from Chris Reeve that he has successfully petitioned the Bungay Society to make a grant of £500 towards the project. Wow! Thanks to all concerned. Please note that Gemma has organised a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party at the Three Willows Cafe tomorrow (Sunday 4th) with proceeds towards this project. And the give and grow/plant swap tables run so successfully in May are now in place on a permanent basis so members of the community can freely exchange seedlings or plants – check it out!

Here are some pictures!
