Rounders anyone? Summer Picnic 2011

Every summer Sustainable Bungay meets under the lime trees at the Old Grammar School Playing Fields and has a celebratory summer picnic. Everyone is invited to come along. We bring home-made dishes, cakes, seasonal fruit and cold drinks to share and afterwards play a stirling and highly informal rounders game.

Last year we had an elderflower champagne competition (won by Hugh with his strong and fragrant bubbly) which really inspired us for the annual game (though it had to be abandoned half-way through due to the collapsed state of the ball . .  . rather than us).

So why not join us this year on Sunday, 21 August at 1pm for food, drink and merry making, (with optional exercise) under the trees. All ages welcome. Hope to see you there!
